The Japanese call it "shinrin-yoku". For the next few weeks, I'll be working on a series called "Forest Bathing" I'm being immersed in the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest. There is something so peaceful to be surrounded by giant old-growth trees in the middle of a sunlit forest with only the sounds of twittering birds, snapping twigs, and soft moss underfoot. The anxieties of our times just melt away as I paint with a conscious and contemplative practice that I will share with you. (Framed  30" w x 37" h) at $1200
