"The Other Side of Nowhere" watercolour 14" x 10" En plein air painting takes effort to find the perfect location to construct a painting. There is always so much to choose from and one location can supply many points of interest. Textures, colours and angles all play into making those paintings interesting. Scrambling up rocks on a hillside by the ocean was one example of choice.
